Visit Santa and his Reindeer

Many towns all over the UK have magical Grottos for all to enjoy on the run up to Christmas. Get a present, pet a reindeer and see the big man himself. Contact your local tourist information centre to find out where your nearest Santa is.

Christmas cards

This is one of our faves and it will bring a smile to any grandparent’s face. Draw a green triangle on the front of a folded piece of paper; hand your kid some stickers, markers and glitter and have them make their own Christmas tree cards for those they love.

Ice-skating

Nothing says Christmas quite like a spin around an ice rink, with a festive backdrop of twinkling lights and Christmas trees. Whether you’re a pro, or you feel more like Bambi, it’s a fun afternoon out for the whole family. What are you waiting for? Get your skates on!

 Watch a Christmas film

If you’re anything like us, then you plan to watch as many Christmas films as possible! From Home Alone and The Muppets to one of our all time faves Miracle on 34th Street, the list is endless. We recommend lots of duvets and some of our delicious Get Fruity bars for the perfect afternoon.

 Carol Singing

Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la la la la! That’s right, turn the radio, head to a concert or simply print off some lyrics and have a good old family sing song.

Christmas Lights

Wrap up warm and head to your local Christmas light switch on for a truly spectacular display. If the weathers not on your side, then jump in the car and have drive through nearby neighborhoods, scoring the lit up houses out of 10!
