One for the locals on a sunny winters morning, opposite the famous Padstow harbour sits a sandy beach  with a brilliant hill top walk with fantastic views over to the surrounding beaches. You can also take a circular walk from Rock along the sand dunes to St Enodoc church, once buried in the sand, and across fields to the mediaeval church of St Minver, returning via 3 pubs and the brewery where “Doom Bar” is made.

Not only do watergate bay Hotel sell our Get Fruity bars but the surrounding area has some beautiful coastal paths to be enjoyed. If you take the route from Watergate bay to Porth you get to enjoy the sand for over a mile to Whipsiddery. The route then crosses Trevelgue Head to reach the beach at Porth. You can then join the coast path and follows this around the promontary fort on Trevelgue Head, which returns past Fruitful Cove to give you panoramic views over Watergate Bay.
