If you take the route from Watergate bay to Porth you get to enjoy the sand for over a mile to Whipsiddery. The route then crosses Trevelgue Head to reach the beach at Porth. You can then join the coast path and follows this around the promontary fort on Trevelgue Head, which returns past Fruitful Cove to give you panoramic views over Watergate Bay.
